On Your Wedding Day...
On the day of your wedding, you have plenty to think about! My role as your officiant should be seamless and comfortable. It's my goal to ensure that you have everything that you need, and that you, your wedding coordinator (if applicable), your wedding party, and your guests feel welcome and know exactly what is expected throughout the ceremony. I'll ensure that all of the details are in place, and all I'll need from you is your marriage license, which I will need prior to the ceremony.
I will arrive at your venue about 30 min. prior to your ceremony. Upon arrival, I will check in with you and the person coordinating the music to ensure that everything is in place. I'll collect and inspect your marriage license prior to the ceremony to ensure that the necessary elements are filled out. Then, immediately following your ceremony, we will just need a quiet moment with the bride, groom, photographer, and two witnesses who will sign the marriage license and make your marriage official!
My final official role will be to leave you with your portion of the marriage license, and I will record the other portion with the county recorder's office. It's as simple as that!
